What We Offer
Our troop offers the environment for a scout to realize his full potential . Troop 1770 has a strong commitment to individual responsibility. Scouts and their parents are tasked with taking charge of their own advancement. Our meetings are not an extension of a scout's school day but they are structured and focus on activities that are meant to help a scout meet their advancement requirements…. without knowing.
Troop 1770 is affiliated with the Civilian Marksmanship Program. The troop boasts an NRA instructor with rifle and pistol certifications, and an RSO. The troop will hold bi-weekly shooting till the ammo runs out.
Troop 1770 also has merit badge counselors covering 12 different badges.
